Huawei Health app_Using the auto-pause feature

Update the Huawei Health app to the latest version and try again. The update method may vary depending on the version.

On the Exercise screen, select a workout mode (outdoor run, walk, or cycle), touch the four-dot icon in the upper right corner, select Settings, and enable Auto-pause. Once the auto-pause feature is enabled, the workout will automatically pause when the user stays still for more than 10 seconds during the workout. The workout record will start again immediately when the user starts moving again.

  • This feature is only supported on Huawei and Honor phones running EMUI 5.1 or later (released before the end of 2020).
  • Conditions for triggering auto-pause: It will be triggered if the user stays still for more than 10 seconds during a workout. When the user starts moving again, the workout record will restart immediately. Currently, this feature is triggered only when the phone is completely static (for example, when the phone is placed on a table). It is difficult to trigger this feature when you hold your phone and stop at a traffic light. In this case, you are advised to manually pause the workout.
